Abstract

There is a lot of excitement (and hype) around blockchain. Since most of the blockchains rely on a public ledger, transactions are pseudonymous and fully traceable. This paper will examine and compare how two popular cryp- tocurrencies, Monero and Zcash achieve privacy by obfuscating transactions.
